Maria Lucas is a minor character in Pride and Prejudice. She is the second daughter of Sir William and Lady Lucas, and a younger sister of Charlotte Lucas Collins. She is the sister-in-law of William Collins, a clergyman.

She is described in the story as "a good humoured girl, but as empty-headed".

Maria accompanies her father and Elizabeth to visit her sister Charlotte at her new home. She is intimidated and frightened by Lady Catherine and the grandeur of Rosings Park. While a minor character, as the second-eldest daughter of the Lucas family, Maria offers up a distinctive contrast to Elizabeth.

Since Maria is not mentioned in the novel previous to her sister's marriage, it is often assumed that she was not "out" in society prior to the event; however, this is unlikely. Maria was likely already "out", based on the timeline of events in the story.
