Mr. Drummond is a character mentioned in Northanger Abbey. It is unknown if he is alive or deceased by the time of the novel's commencement, although it is assumed he is dead. He was the father of the late Mrs. Tilney and he was extremely wealthy himself, able to afford a lavish dowry for his daughter (£20,000[1]) and spend £500[2] on wedding clothes for her. He is the maternal grandfather of the Tilney siblings, Frederick, Henry, and Eleanor.
